Video: “Mystery Planet; America” with Katie Crown, Levi MacDougall, Steve Agee and Rob Delaney

In the world of Canadian showbiz, the reality is that sometimes you have to go to America. Some of Toronto’s best comics have made the move to L.A. and it is with great envy and pride that we here at home watch them take a run at the big times.

Katie Crown, Levi MacDougall and David Dineen-Porter have all made that jump recently and it seems like they’re making friends. They made this Funny or Die video with Steve Agee (Sarah Silverman Program) and Rob Delaney (he’s pretty big on twitter I guess) who are both well known comics in the L.A. comedy scene. “Mystery Planet; America” is a little tame for these founding Laugh Sabbath members, the non-original premise doesn’t merit the five and a half minute run time. But it’s good to see some local talent mixing with the regulars down there. Hopefully they’ll add a little more mustard on their next effort. More classic DDP absurdity please.
